GoSLuRP - What is it?

GoSLuRP, as it says at the top of the page, stands for Goldsmiths Student Lifecycle Relationship Project and aims to engage with the Student Lifecycle at Goldsmiths through transforming our approach to managing our engagement with students and prospective students. Through this engagement we will interact with two distinct aspects of the Student Lifecycle to map processes and redesign services, namely:

a. Pre-enrolment: pre-application, application, pre-registration;
b. Post-enrolment: registration, induction, early retention interventions,
personalised programme planning;

The main aim is
to look at how we can do better from the perspective of both the academic staff and the students.

In short; increase the number of well prepared students successfully progressing to Goldsmiths from the initial enquiry and through to enrolment and subsequent retention, whilst improving student preparedness and transition.

This can be viewed as such:

The project forms part of a wider programme implemented by JISC (Joint Information Systems Committee) which is looking at both CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and SLRM (Student Lifecycle Relationship Management) projects. There are 20 universities taking part in this project with 7 focusing on SLRM and 13 CRM.

We hope to learn more about the key touch points and effective communication channels for the distinct groups we are piloting with.
